Shelley & Cristian
Cristian & Craig
We’ve now completed day four of our Tango lessons and we’re really enjoying it though at the same time gutted we didn’t get to meet Cristian earlier – he’s a fantastic teacher and though it’s only been four days we both feel that we’ve come on leaps and bounds, we’re hooked – Shelley has already bought herself some hand-made tango shoes from Comme il Faut and she’s apparently going back tomorrow to buy some more!
Tomorrow is our final day and following our lesson the three of us will be going for lunch to celebrate the week.
We’re now busy trying to find a teacher in Lima…
(We’re hoping to upload a video of our dancing tommorow, you’ve been warned!)

This evening Shelley and I attended our first Tango lesson here in Buenos Aires – oh how we wish we’d gone sooner! We’ve found a great teacher, literally five minutes walk/one block from our apartment! We’ve just come back and we’re buzzing – we’re here til Saturday and planning to cram as much tango in as possible…
Very good feedback re our dancing and didn’t feel like he was bullshitting us – here we come Brucy!

Lunch, Las Cabras
As is becoming our normal routine, today saw us saying cheerio to two friends from London, Rachel and Tush. We’re just back from seeing them both off – we had a great lunch at Las Cabras here is Palermo Hollywood (corner of Costa Rica y el Salvador.) Not able to face a 400gm piece of beef for lunch I opted for the Chicken Quesadilla which was superb and just right for such a time. The girls Tortilla with Tush opting for the Beef Chorizo, which on arrival looked fantastic and very much had a case of food envy!
We also shared three bottles of wine which is a bit cheeky for a Monday lunchtime!
They came over for a week and are now en route to Rio for a further week before flying back to the UK all refreshed and ready for work – though I somehow doubt this as both like a little liquid refreshment early in the afternoon… It’s been fun having them both here and will certainly miss both ‘Con Gas’ and Tush (even if he is a QPR fan!)
Hasta Luego and enjoy Rio!
