For some reason, I thought Thailand and certainly Bangkok, would be covered in Graffiti – maybe I was looking in the wrong places or not finding the right alleyways to wander down! I found the following pieces during our two months here, enjoy!

For the second time now, we say cheerio to Bangkok only this time we’re heading north to Chiang Mai rather than south – we’ve done beaches and now need more culture and things to see and do. Chiang Mai is Thailand’s fifth largest city and is surrounded by mountains with lots to see and do in the local area, I think we’re here for a good few weeks before moving into Laos.
As ever, we took the train from Bangkok – our favourite seat; 2nd class A/C sleeper! It takes about 13 hours to Chiang Mai and it really is a great way to travel, it’s cheap too. Yesterday being elections meant there was no alcohol anywhere, the night before we’d been kicked out of a bar due to the elections! However, like most areas surrounding train stations (being dodgy,) we managed to ‘source’ several beers and a couple of bottles of rum – it certainly makes for a more pleasant journey!
